Again, doctors roll their eyes when I say that this can cause breathing difficulties, and the bigger the heat-wave, the more of these nuisances occur. And from the study above it appears that they are more harmful, the higher the temperature. Croydon Council has no enforceable policy on bonfires, and barbeques seem to be a God's given right of every Englishman. They roll their eyes in the air, despite the fact that there is strong evidence of high pollution CAUSATIVE factors for heart attacks!! Moreover, why does not the UK announce high smog days as do other countries?
